On September 6 Adult Sunday School begins a new study! We will exploring Any Jill Levine's new book on Genesis.
Genesis: A Beginner’s Guide to the Beginning invites readers into the foundational stories of the Old Testament with clarity, depth, and imagination. Amy-Jill Levine presents Genesis as a living text, one that continues to shape faith, identity, and our understanding of what it means to be human. These familiar stories are often heard in fragments; here, they are explored with care, curiosity, and theological insight.
We will meet each Sunday at 10:45 am in the activities room and on Zoom. Reading the book is helpful but not required as each class will begin with a brief video by the author.

Jennifer Vastardis will lead a relaxed, beginner-friendly Mah Jongg class designed for anyone who wants tolearn or refresh their skills. Participants will receive instruction and have plenty of time to practice whilebuilding friendships. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to church!

If you are struggling with grief or the isolation that it can bring, please join our Grief Support Group. A safe environment where you can tell your story and express feelings freely, knowing that others will be understanding, non-judgmental, and supportive.

The first PEP event to kick off the upcoming St. Matthew's season will be a Pottery Night held at the church on Saturday September 19 from 6 - 8:30 PM. We are able to welcome 15 people. If asked, we can accommodate children with an adult if they are nine and over. As space is limited, please sign up sheet in the chruch lobby.
